By accessing or using LotLens (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users and anyone who accesses the Service.

2. Description of the Service

LotLens provides AI-generated analysis of vehicle lots listed on third-party salvage auctions such as Copart and IAAI. Reports may include estimated risk scores, detected damage, estimated repair costs, bid guidance and related information.

All reports are generated automatically from publicly available lot data and photos and are provided for informational purposes only.

3. Not Professional Advice

LotLens is an informational tool, not a substitute for a professional inspection, appraisal, mechanic or financial advisor. Risk scores, cost estimates and recommendations are automated predictions and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

You are solely responsible for your bidding, purchasing and financial decisions. LotLens does not guarantee the condition, value, history or outcome of any vehicle or auction.

4. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, scrape it at scale, resell reports without permission, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for any activity that violates these terms or that we reasonably consider harmful to the Service or other users.

6. Third-Party Auctions

LotLens is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Copart, IAAI or any other auction platform. All trademarks and lot data belong to their respective owners.

We do not control third-party listings and are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of data originating from those platforms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design and generated report format, is owned by LotLens and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use reports for your own personal or internal business purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LotLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on any report or from your use of the Service.

You use LotLens entirely at your own risk and agree to hold LotLens harmless from any claim, loss or expense arising from any vehicle you bid on, purchase, or decline based on our reports. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount, if any, you paid us for the report in question.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated.
